Worship Pastor

Yucca Valley EFC, Yucca Valley, CA

Guitar, Bass, or Keyboard player and strong singer required. Worship leader would work in conjunction with the Pastor and the church’s Creative Team to build the best possible services, enhancing both the teaching of God’s Word and the healthy spiritual growth of our fellowship. The hours for this position are as follows for the time being, subject to change as the church grows and possibly changes or adds service times and days: • Sunday morning worship service – Service lasts 1 hour including teaching, music, family business, etc., beginning at 10:30 am. • Sunday morning pre-worship service rehearsal – 1.5 hours. • Additional separate worship team rehearsal, day and time to be determined by new worship leader & team.

The stipend for this position is: $1000.00 per month.

We are currently looking for an energetic follower of Jesus who has a passion to reach, disciple, and equip the younger generations to grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ. Someone who can create an environment where students can come, be themselves, and feel safe while  becoming mature disciples.  The primary ministry focus will be to oversee areas of youth ministry which include a Jr. High group called “The Magnet” of approximately 15-20 and a Sr. High group called “The Crowd” of approximately 20-25. Candidates will be given the opportunity and encouragement to develop other ministerial skills from church leadership.
